Patient of Dr. Joseph Williams of Las Vegas.
This patient from Hawaii visited Dr. Williams with extensive hair loss in the front and top of the scalp. The crown area was thinning, but not too badly.
3,000 grafts were placed via FUT (the strip method) in just one visit. What is interesting about him is that by 2 months after his procedure not only had his hair transplants fallen out, which is expected, but so did some of his original hair. Needless to say, he was a bit concerned. But Dr. Williams wasn’t. Temporary hair loss in an area of scalp after a hair transplant is normal and expected and all that is usually need to remedy it is a bit of patience.
One month later, month 3, his original hair came back and his new transplants started to kick in and grow. This is a bit early as normal growth usually starts about a month later. By the time these photos were taken only 6 months had passed since his hair transplant. He’s already had two haircuts.
The patient told Dr. Williams he was happy after which Dr. Williams commented: “This is what I love about this business. HAPPY PATIENTS !”
